When I ran for city council eight years ago, I ran with one thought in mind. Why do we still need yard signs? In a day of technology driven communication, shouldn’t we be able to approach campaigning differently? And with that underlying question, I decided invest all of my spending into digital advertizing and $0 into yard signs.

At the end of the campaign and with voting statistics in hand, I deduced a clearer thought. All of the brilliant politicians who urged me to do yard signs were right. While I feel like I did a pretty exemplary job at reaching the 10-15% of the voting citizens who were online, I missed a great portion of the population who still want to see who their friends and neighbors are supporting.

So, with that understanding in mind, I have resolved to do things differently this time around. With the help of a great local company (thank you Advanced Graphics!), I have my yard signs ready to go. But I still need your help.

Because five candidates filed for two city council seats, we will have a primary election to narrow the field to four candidates (two per open position). The timeline for voting will look like this:

Tuesday, July 22, 2025; Primary Election Ballots will be delievered to registered voters via USPS.

Tuesday, August 12, 2025: Municipal Primary Election Day

Tuesday October 14, 2025; General Election Ballots will be delievered to registered voters via USPS

Tuesday, November 4, 2025; Municipal General Election Day

In preparation for those two ballots, I need all of the help and support I can get from those Kaysville households willing to have a sign in their yards or businesses. To give the city a break, I would just ask that the signs be taken down after the Primary Election and put back up after Labor Day.

If you would like to support me by hosting a yard sign, feel free to email me at randi@randivonbose.com or fill out the form below. I will bring one by to you with my gratitude for your support!
